The things people actually ask.
How do you work out the price?
We track realised auction results across Australia, so the number is based on what forklifts like yours actually sold for — not what dealers are asking. Capacity, hours, mast type, fuel type and tyre and battery condition are what move it.
Do you buy electric forklifts with a tired battery?
Yes, and it is worth being upfront about the pack. A replacement battery is often a large fraction of what the machine is worth, so a dead one changes the number a lot — but it is a known cost we can quote, not a reason to walk away.
Do you buy telehandlers?
Yes. JCB, Merlo, Manitou, Genie, Dieci — agricultural and construction spec both. Tell us the lift height and capacity at full reach rather than just the badge, because that is what sets the price, and say whether it has a hitch and what attachments come with it. Pick 'telescopic boom' for the mast question on the form.
Will you take the whole fleet?
Yes. Put the count and a rough spread of makes and capacities in the message field. A multi-unit collection is cheaper per machine to float, and that saving stays in your number.
How fast is it, really?
A number within 24 hours of the form. Accept it and collection is usually inside the week, sooner around Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast.
Does it need to be running?
No. We buy machines that will not start. Tell us what is wrong and it gets priced in properly. Hiding it just means the number changes at pickup, which wastes your day and ours.
What paperwork do I need?
Photo ID, proof the business owns it, and any service records or thorough-examination reports you have kept. Documented servicing on a high-hour machine is worth real money.
